American Association Requests Donations for 4th of July

The American Association of Singapore (AAS) needs your support for its annual 4^th of July fireworks show – a spectacular display of American tradition that touches the heart of our community and unites us under a common bond.   For a $100 donation become a fireworks sponsor which includes having your name listed in the Singapore American Newspaper as a firework contributor.  The 4^th of July Celebration is a free event because of the generosity of sponsors and donations from companies and individuals.

To make the $100 donation, simply go to http://www.aasingapore.com/en/catalogs/items/view.asp?catalogid=7.  Alternatively, you can mail a check to the AAS office address below and include how you’d like your name to appear on the Singapore American Newspaper list of contributors.

We hope to see you at the Celebration on Saturday, July 3^rd.  Remember, it’s a great day to:

• Enjoy a foot long hot dog or grilled hamburger with all the fixins’
• Watch your kids joyously enjoy face painting, field games and bouncy castles
• Take a chance at the dunking booth – soaking US Naval officers
• Listen (and dance) to some great live music from area bands
• Relax with a cold beer while socializing with friends
• Reminisce about times in the USA as you watch the fantastic fireworks display
