About Us

The American Dragon Boat Team of Singapore is a Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA) affiliate team organized under the American Association of Singapore.

From humble beginnings in 2005, the American Dragons are now a serious presence at all major Singapore dragon boat events (ranking as high as 5th in the Singapore Mixed National Championship event), and some overseas races too. With our mission of being friendly, competitive and fun, the team participates in and organizes many events both on and off the water.

Team members come from many backgrounds and all nationalities are welcome. No prior paddling experience is necessary, though dragon boating is a very physical sport so at least a moderate level of fitness is needed. We provide all equipment and training.
